Worldcoin, the innovative project that uses iris-scanning biometrics to provide proof of personhood, made a significant announcement on Thursday. The project revealed that it has officially commenced its operations in Colombia. Through social media channels, Worldcoin informed its users that they can now access eye-scanning services in both Bogota and Medellin, exclusively for World ID users. Presently, there are a limited number of locations where individuals can find these cutting-edge orbs, with six machines situated in Bogota and four in Medellin. However, the project has assured its users that they plan to expand the availability of these advanced machines in the near future, affirming that “more orbs are coming.”
