As of June 6, the company held a total of 828 BTC, which had been acquired for a total of $57 million. CEO Doug Murphy-Chutorian emphasized Semler Scientific’s dedication to healthcare advancements and digital currency investments, noting bitcoin’s dual role as a lucrative investment and a reliable financial instrument. The company plans to continue its bitcoin acquisition strategy using its cash reserves. On May 28, Semler Scientific declared bitcoin as its primary treasury reserve asset and bought 581 bitcoins for $40 million.
