Bitcoin and ethereum have managed to regain some of the losses they suffered in the previous week, but there are several other cryptocurrencies that have experienced significant increases in value over the past seven days. In fact, around nine cryptocurrencies have seen their values soar by 20% or more, with ONDO leading the pack with an impressive 94% leap.
Currently, the overall valuation of the crypto market stands at $2.59 trillion, representing a 3.95% increase in the past day. Apart from BTC, ETH, and stablecoins, the coins with the highest trading volumes today include SOL, BNB, XRP, BCH, and AVAX.
While bitcoin recorded a modest 2.5% gain over the week and ethereum saw a slight increase of 0.1%, other digital currencies have experienced much more substantial growth. ONDO outperformed all others with an astonishing 94.7% surge in value over the week.
During this seven-day period, Internet computer (ICP) enjoyed a significant boost of 42%, while ecash (XEC) climbed by 35%. STX also experienced a notable increase of 31%, followed by CFX with a 28% advance, and BCH with a jump of 24%.
ONDO’s remarkable spike in value propelled it to reach a new peak price. Additionally, LDO surged by 24%, FTM grew by 21%, and DOGE also escalated by 21% this week. On the other hand, bittensor (TAO) suffered the biggest downturn, dropping by 13.6% against the U.S. dollar.
Another notable decline was seen in Dogwifhat (WIF), which fell by 12.9% this week, and jupiter (JUP), which decreased by 12.8% over the seven-day period. Only five cryptocurrencies experienced double-digit depreciation this week, including PYTH and RNDR.
Other significant weekly decliners included INJ, SOL, THETA, AVAX, GRT, WLD, and BONK, all of which lost between 5% and 9.9% over the week. The most noteworthy liquidations in the crypto derivatives market, excluding BTC and ETH, involved PEPE, DOGE, and BCH.
