Nicehash, the marketplace for bitcoin hashing power, has introduced custom software for ASIC miners in partnership with Marathon Digital Holdings. The new firmware, called Nicehash Firmware, aims to enhance the efficiency of ASIC devices and increase miners’ revenue on the platform.
According to a statement released on June 14, Nicehash revealed that users of the firmware will benefit from low fees of only 2% or 1.4% when Nicehash is used as their primary pool. The firmware is compatible with ASICs utilizing air, hydro, and single-phase or two-phase immersion cooling systems.
Vladimir Hožjan, the CEO of Nicehash, expressed his excitement about the collaboration with Marathon and how it has allowed the company to finally offer a firmware solution for ASIC miners. He praised Marathon for the quality and reliability of their product, stating that this partnership will keep Nicehash at the forefront of the rapidly evolving industry.
The CEO also emphasized that the joint efforts with Marathon will enhance Nicehash’s market position and enable miners worldwide to achieve unmatched efficiency and profitability. Ashu Swami, the CTO of Marathon Digital Holdings, highlighted how the partnership with Nicehash will enable the company to introduce advanced safety and optimization features to Bitcoin miners of all sizes, ultimately improving their performance and profitability.
With the recent halving event causing a further reduction in the block reward, Nicehash’s new firmware is expected to help Bitcoin miners maximize their profits. Share your thoughts on this collaboration in the comments section below.
