A group of over 100 former federal prosecutors and federal agents have penned a letter to the U.S. State Department, urging them to ramp up their efforts to secure the release of Tigran Gambaryan, a U.S. citizen and employee of Binance, who is currently detained in Nigeria. Concerned about the lackluster progress so far, the 108 ex-government officials warned of severe consequences if action is not taken swiftly. They called on the Biden administration to utilize the full extent of U.S. diplomacy to demand Gambaryan’s immediate release, so he can be reunited with his loved ones and return to the nation where he has served with distinction.
