More than 100 former federal prosecutors and federal agents have called on the U.S. State Department to step up its efforts in securing the release of Tigran Gambaryan, a U.S. citizen and employee of Binance, who is currently detained in Nigeria. In a letter directed to Anthony Blinken, the group of 108 former government officials expressed their worries about the insufficient actions taken by the U.S. so far, emphasizing the potentially severe consequences of continued inaction. They urged the Biden administration to utilize the full extent of U.S. diplomacy to demand the immediate release of Gambaryan, allowing him to be reunited with his loved ones and return to the nation he has faithfully served.
