JPMorgan Reports USListed Bitcoin Miners Achieve Record Market Cap of 228 Billion

According to JPMorgan, U.S.-listed bitcoin miners have achieved an all-time high market capitalization of $22.8 billion as of June 15. This unprecedented growth is driven by impressive stock performances from companies such as Core Scientific, Terawulf, and Iren. The entire sector has experienced a 24% increase in market cap since the end of May, largely fueled by discussions of acquisition and partnership agreements involving Core Scientific. Marathon Digital continues to hold the title of the largest U.S.-listed bitcoin miner. The surge in market cap is also a result of U.S. miners now controlling 23.8% of the network hashrate. Despite a slight decline in the overall hashrate, the hash price remains below previous levels, suggesting the potential for future growth.
