Hashnote, a platform that manages digital assets, has announced a collaboration with Anchorage Digital, a crypto custody firm, to offer secure investment returns for institutional clients. This partnership will integrate Anchorage’s custody services with Hashnote’s derivative strategies.
In a recent statement, Hashnote explained that the collaboration aims to provide a secure environment for yield generation by combining Anchorage Digital’s secure custody services with Hashnote’s advanced derivative strategies. The goal is to reduce counterparty risk and offer peace of mind to institutional investors.
Hashnote is a regulated asset management platform that specializes in providing digital asset investment solutions for institutional clients. It offers various investment options, including cash management, crypto yield and hedging strategies, and long token funds. The platform is registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA).
Anchorage Digital, a federally chartered cryptocurrency bank in the United States, offers integrated financial services and infrastructure solutions specifically designed for institutions. Its services include custody of digital assets, staking, governance participation, 24/7 trading, and lending. The company prioritizes the security of digital assets, employing biometric authentication, behavioral analytics, and hardware security modules.
Hashnote emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating that it solves a major problem for institutions seeking to generate yields on their crypto assets without compromising security. The digital asset manager, backed by Cumberland and DRW, recently formed a partnership with Paxos in late March. The aim of this initiative was to meet the demands of market makers, traders, and institutions by incorporating Paypal USD (PYUSD) into Hashnote’s yield-bearing USYC.
Nathan McCauley, the CEO and co-founder of Anchorage, highlighted the importance of safety and security for institutional investors. He stated that institutions are looking for various ways to participate in the crypto economy and that Anchorage Digital’s focus on safety and security makes them an ideal partner for Hashnote’s crypto derivatives program.
