The German government’s bitcoin wallets made a significant transfer of 1,205 BTC to various parties ten hours ago. Initially holding around 38,621 BTC at 7:40 a.m. EDT, the government’s bitcoin holdings dropped to 26,686 BTC by 4:30 p.m. after divesting an additional 11,935 BTC. Presently, the government’s bitcoin wallet is valued at approximately $1.5 billion in U.S. dollars. Throughout the day, deposits were made to prominent crypto exchanges Coinbase, Kraken, and Bitstamp, as well as market makers Cumberland and Flow Traders. In total, a value of approximately $741 million, including the transferred 1,205 BTC, was exchanged based on current rates. The wallets experienced multiple inflows during the later part of the afternoon. At the same time, the trading price of bitcoin (BTC) sits at $56,363 per coin, showing a 1.6% decrease over the past day.
