Foundry Reveals Latest Hardware Suite Designed for Institutional Bitcoin Mining

Foundry Digital LLC has recently unveiled a fresh lineup of products geared towards enhancing institutional bitcoin mining operations. Known as Foundry Hardware, this latest initiative introduces specialized equipment crafted to enhance mining system efficiencies and reliability.

The suite of offerings from Foundry Hardware includes power supply units, immersion optimization kits, and control boards customized to support various mining machine models. MK Sathya, Senior Vice President of Mining Services at Foundry, stated that these products are engineered to simplify maintenance and adapt to diverse operational needs, allowing miners to optimize their setups without incurring significant modification costs.

“Our foray into the hardware market was motivated by our commitment to offering innovative products that make miners’ lives easier by streamlining maintenance, while also focusing on improving mining efficiency and uptime reliability,” remarked the Foundry vice president. “Moreover, we aim to provide miners with inventory flexibility by creating hardware that can be used across multiple mining machine models.”

The company highlighted that the launch of Foundry Hardware reflects a strategic move to address the crypto mining industry’s demand for robust and adaptable hardware solutions. With the global cryptocurrency market evolving rapidly, Foundry aims to establish itself as a leading player in infrastructure support by delivering products that ensure enhanced uptime and operational efficiency.

Currently, Foundry USA leads as the largest bitcoin mining pool, controlling 27.19% of the global hashrate, which amounts to 595.74 exahash per second (EH/s) out of 161.96 EH/s. Historical data ranks Foundry sixth in terms of the number of blocks discovered annually. The latest developments in Foundry Hardware will be showcased at the upcoming Mining Disrupt conference in Miami.
