Ethereum Foundation Issues Warning About Compromised Mailing List Resulting in Phishing Emails

The Ethereum Foundation’s mailing list provider was hacked, leading to a phishing email being sent out. The hackers are using the stolen addresses to send fraudulent emails claiming a partnership between Ethereum and LIDO, offering a high annual percentage yield (APY) for staked assets. Recipients have been warned by Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko not to click on any links in these emails. Beiko also disclosed that the foundation is working with the mailing list provider to address the breach.
