Binance employee Tigran Gambaryan, who is currently in jail, has asked for permission to amend his claim of fundamental human rights violations by Nigerian law enforcement agencies. The amended proposal apparently requests “the costs of this action on a full indemnity basis.” The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission counsel objected to the request for amendment. Nevertheless, Justice Inyang Ekwo rejected the objection and instructed Gambaryan’s lawyer to present the amended motion within 48 hours. The case has been postponed to July 9, 2024, for a complete hearing on the amended motion and other requests.
